Quality Robust Inverter For Offroad Overlanding

This inverter is very well built with quality materials. It is a huge upgrade over the prior 1000 watt inverter I was trying to use for a small refrigerator in my overlanding setup, which is my largest power draw and can turn on at any time. The nominal 1000 watt capacity is more than enough for running the refrigerator but also has a surge peak to handle compressor startup and it has not experienced any problems with that surge. This inverter's extra capacity also allows me to run a few other occasional on demand accessories such as LED reading lights and a laptop computer.
I feel safe knowing how robust the build quality is as any product failure could be quite damaging and expensive. This unit is heavy and features stable pure sine wave.
I also appreciate the included LED remote display with included CAT-5 cable. Makes my DIY overlanding setup feel like a more professional build and allows me to monitor the watts being used as well.
With this inverter I have been able to create a segregated accessory system in my adventure vehicle with its own lithium power source charging from the alternator, and eventually a solar charge controller. This is going to be great for a remote kayak fishing trip I'm planning.

I have several inverters of different shapes and sizes to use with my solar battery banks. I like the 1000W inverters to use with a single 12V 100Ah LiFiPO4 battery for remote power needs.
This inverter does not disappoint! The Junpaw 1080 is very well built, some people don't like the thumb screw terminals, but for 1000W systems, I find them to be useful. Junbpaw placed the terminals a good distance apart and they are easy to secure. I noticed that on the larger units that Junbpaw sells, they use a shielded terminal with a good heavy duty bolt.
I tested this with a 12.8V 100Ah battery that has a 300W peak boost.
For the load, I used a 1100W water boiling pot, This inverter ran the water pot with 0 issues and brought the water from cold to a full boil without fail. The fans did kick on inside the inverter which is understandable as I was pulling just above this Inverter's wattage threshold.
One feature I thought was really good was the detachable remote is wired with a cat5 cable (Ethernet). The included cable is plenty long, but if you needed to run the remote to a location that is a good distance away from where your inverter is stationed, you could simply run a cat5e cable to connect it.
Out of the handful of 1000W inverters I have used / tested, this one is by far the best overall.

This inverter will run many items in your home during a power outage, included a fridge, freezer or sump pump. The fan when running is not super loud, but it is noticeable in a quiet room. Because it powers on and off depending on the load, it might be a little annoying in small quiet spaces like an RV, but I will be using this in my basement away from living areas. One feature that I really like is the remote that connects with an included CAT-5 cable. Not only can you see the status of your charge and current output usage, you can actually turn it on or off with a physical switch. This is a really nice feature if your battery and inverter are housed farther away, but you want to be able to control it where you are. I'm really happy with this inverter!
