Frequently Asked Questions
Fregquently asked questions, we have integrated them into a self-service Q&A lfyou have other questions, please leave us a message.

Can I use the inverter with a 24V system?
No. This is 12V inverter, so this model can only work with 12V battery system.

Can I use this 12V inverter to charge my batteries?
No. The Renogy 12VDC to 230/240VAC inverter can only convert DC power to AC power. Please check the Renogy Pure Sine Wave Inverter Charger, and we have 12V 2000W and 3000W for your options.

How do I hook up the 12V to 240V inverter? What size cable should I use, and is it included?
When connecting the power inverter 12V to 240V to the battery always use the thickest wire available, in the shortest length practical. 20mm²*6m cables with battery terminals is included in the pacakge.

Can I use this inverter to charge my batteries?
No. This inverter only provides 12V to 230/240V conversion. Please find more with Inverter Charger.

Can this 12V to 240V inverter work with lithium batteries?
Yes, as long as the lithium battery is rated for 12V applications.

Reviewed in Japan on June 26, 2025

Seems reliable

Using it to power our hunt camp with an 8D battery. Runs our small fridge, lights, and charges phones/GPS units for a week. The fan does run quite quietly. And the quality is really good, very recommended.

Rock-solid clean inverter.
Reviewed in the United States on October 13, 2025
I recently picked up the B0F59YRCPL 2080W pure sine wave inverter (24V to 110V/120V) for use in my RV and off-grid setups, and it’s been one of the better inverters I’ve had for the money. I like the clean design — and it's solid, the cooling vents are well placed, and it doesn’t look or feel cheap.
When I powered up appliances my small fridge, LED lights, and a laptop charger — it handled them cleanly without droop or any weird and irritation noises. I liked that it stays quiet under moderate load, and the sine wave output was a must for my sensitive electronics (camera gear, audio equipment), which has been running for the past several trips without any issues. The “ultra-quiet” claim definitely holds up in my case. The inverter seems capable of handling peaks pretty well, which gave me confidence to run a few surge-prone tools occasionally...like a hair dryer and induction cooktop.
That said, there are a few downsides I noticed: under very high load, the casing does warm up noticeably — not alarmingly, but warm enough that I’m cautious about ventilation. Also, during startup with heavy loads, there’s a slight momentary sag before it stabilizes, which might matter if your devices are very sensitive. The cooling fan also kicks in under heavy use, which adds sound (but not irritation) when pushing close to capacity. For those pushing the unit hard, I’d watch the thermal and ventilation design.
Overall, for home, RV, or off-grid use where you need reliable, clean power from 24V systems, this inverter hits a sweet spot. It’s robust enough that it has become a dependable part of my setup. If your expectations are realistic — good performance with some thermal considerations — I think you’ll feel like this was a solid buy.
